The Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary invites interested applicants to apply for the Regular Recruit Training 2025. This recruitment drive aligns with the National Government's initiative to strengthen the Constabulary, as outlined in the PNG Government Vision 2050, the Medium-Term Development Plan, and the RPNGC’s Corporate Plan 2021–2030.



Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Citizenship: Must be a Papua New Guinean citizen.
  2. Age: 20 to 30 years old.
  3. Education: Grade 12 certificate from a recognized government-certified institution, with “C” grades or higher in English and Mathematics.
  4. Record: No criminal record or previous dismissal from RPNGC.
  5. Fitness: Physically and medically fit (fitness tests and medical assessments required).
  6. Height: Minimum 158 cm (female) and 160 cm (male).
  7. Language Skills: Proficient in spoken and written English.

Application Requirements:

To apply, submit the following:

  1. A completed RPNGC application form with a passport-sized photo.
  2. A current resume (CV).
  3. Copies of National Identification (NID) card or birth certificate.
  4. Copies of both original Grade 10 and Grade 12 certificates.

Encouraged to Apply:

  • Grade 12 school leavers from the last five years.
  • Professionals seeking a career change (referees required).
