Sirimai emphasized that the success of the trainees reflects NiuSky Pacific's dedication to ensuring the continuity of safe and efficient air traffic control in Papua New Guinea. The newly graduated cadets will now advance to the on-the-job-training (OJT) phase, where they will apply their classroom-acquired knowledge in real-time operational scenarios.

During the OJT phase, the cadets will receive practical training in key areas such as Flight Data Management, Simulator Training, Traffic Entry, and Tower Flight Data. This hands-on experience is crucial in equipping the trainees with the skills necessary to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft movement within the nation's Flight Information Region (FIR).

NiuSky Pacific's cadet program is part of the organization’s broader strategic focus on workforce development. As a State Aviation Entity, the company aims to enhance its operational capabilities while contributing to Papua New Guinea’s socio-economic growth through talent development and a commitment to continuous learning.

The program's success underscores NiuSky Pacific’s role as a leader in the aviation industry, both regionally and globally, with the new cadets expected to make significant contributions to air traffic management across Papua New Guinea.
