The 2025 tertiary education selections for West Sepik Province have been announced, highlighting the schools and non-school leavers who have secured places in various tertiary institutions across the country. The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) has published the list, detailing the students who have been selected based on their academic achievements.

Top Schools in West Sepik Province for 2025 Tertiary Selection
St. Ignatius Secondary School emerged as the top performer in the province, with a total of 88 students selected for tertiary education. The school had 23 students selected for Agriculture College, 4 for Business College, 9 for the School of Nursing, 26 for Teachers College, and 26 for Technical College.
Vanimo Secondary School also performed well, with 67 students selected for various tertiary programs. The school contributed 27 students to the Agriculture College, 8 to the School of Nursing, 19 to Teachers College, and 13 to Technical College.
Don Bosco Technical (Vanimo) contributed 44 students to the selections, with 24 students selected for Agriculture College, 3 for Business College, 7 for the School of Nursing, and 10 for Teachers College.

Non-School Leavers Selected for Tertiary Education
In addition to school leavers, non-school leavers in West Sepik Province also secured places in tertiary institutions. A total of 43 non-school leavers were selected, with 23 of them chosen for Agriculture College, 1 for Business College, 1 for the School of Nursing, 12 for Teachers College, and 6 for Technical College.
Other notable schools in the province included Telefomin Secondary (30 students), Oksapmin Secondary (28 students), and Green River Secondary (21 students), each contributing students to various tertiary programs.
