The Department of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (DHERST) has released the 2025 tertiary selection results for Gulf Province, showcasing the success of students from various schools in the region.
Performance Overview
The following is a breakdown of student placements in tertiary institutions from Gulf Province:
Coronation (Kerema) Secondary: A total of 24 students secured places, including 15 in Business College, 2 in School of Nursing, 1 in Teachers College, 3 in Technical College, and 3 in universities.
Don Bosco (Araimiri) Secondary: Eleven students were selected, with 4 to Business College, 2 to Teachers College, 3 to Technical College, and 2 to universities.
Non-School Leavers: Three students were placed, with 1 in Business College, 1 in Technical College, and 1 in a university.
A total of 38 students from Gulf Province secured tertiary placements, distributed as follows:
- 20 students to Business Colleges.
- 2 students to Schools of Nursing.
- 3 students to Teachers Colleges.
- 7 students to Technical Colleges.
- 6 students to universities.
