UPNG and ANU boast a robust partnership, facilitating academic exchanges and collaborations. Ten students from UPNG's School of Business and Public Policy have returned to PNG equipped with enhanced academic skills, valuable connections, and heightened motivation.

Among the accomplished students selected to attend was aspiring female economist Michelle Paine, who expressed her appreciation for the opportunity provided by the ANU summer school program. "I believe this ANU summer school program is a really terrific opportunity for students and it gives us exposure to what is out there. So with the knowledge we’ve gathered, we want to come back and contribute meaningfully towards improving our country," Michelle remarked.

Supported by the Australian Government, the ANU-UPNG partnership aims to expand academic opportunities and foster connections between Australian and Papua New Guinean students, nurturing a collaborative environment for mutual growth and development.
